I am an organizational hacker, innovator, coalition builder, and strategic planner in the public and non-profit sectors.
My passion is empowering organizations to evolve new capabilities in response to emerging challenges, helping senior executives transcend organizational barriers to implement collaborative solutions. My work as a facilitator has led to breakthrough transformations using techniques adapted from lean six sigma, human centered design, and data analytics.
As a senior political appointee in the Obama Administration, I established a Lean practice at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. I have also served as a facilitator and advocate for the Lab@OPM, a human centered design laboratory that continues to transform and humanize processes impacting billions of dollars in government spending and millions of Americans.
My operational responsibilities in the Federal government included overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives within the President’s Management Agenda. As Deputy Performance Improvement Officer at OPM, I coordinated $2 billion in human capital and IT services government-wide and managed the Presidential Executive Fellows program.
