Hiring Diversity

Can we ensure that government employees reflect the communities they serve?  Centralization of back-office hiring process at a government agency had the unintended consequence of reducing diversity to historic lows.  We brought everyone together — senior executives, field managers, human resource managers, diversity advocates, administrative staff — to get to the root of the problem. Participants developed a novel solution to improve hiring diversity for a critical hiring series at no additional cost to the taxpayer.
